Aligoté seems to still be an under the radar variety, and we love that about it. It puts producers, normally beyond our reach, like Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey at a more accessible price point. This is a great example of how this under-sung grape can shine. Green apples and crisp pears with a touch of honeysuckle and firm gravely bass note of earth and mineral.
