From a husband and wife, who began their business foraging wild apples, this cider is made from pink fleshed Mountain Rose variety. This cider doesn’t quite deliver a pink hue in the glass, but that doesn’t detract from its expressiveness whatsoever. It practically leaps out of the glass, aromatically. There is a musky, savory quality to this bottling that creates a delicious contrast to the fruit and richness here. It seems plush but with energetic acidity.

Pair it with: Cole slaw. Hawaiian plate lunch. BBQ grilled chicken. Smoked turkey legs. Roasted sunchokes. Just about anything covered in snail butter (garlic + parsley). Kohlrabi kraut. Muffaletta. Blue mussels. Beer cheese and pretzels. Schnitzel.    Must have proof of age at time of pick up, 21 years or older
