From The Eyrie Vineyards: Trousseau is an ancient red variety, originating in France’s Jura region and centered in the hillside village of Montigny-les-Arsures. In 2012, inspired by these wines, we planted the Willamette Valley’s first Trousseau.

From Ksandek: This is so cool! From the Willamette Valley’s first winery, comes another first, Trousseau. As was the case with the founding generation, Jason Lett continues to honor restraint and balance in his winemaking, pursuing a style captures the soul of the wine’s origin. This is trousseau with some guster. Crushed rock, plum skin, pepper and umami.
