While our ultimate goal is to open a neighborhood restaurant in Portland, we’re keeping busy finding ways to share the Coquine experience with as many people as we can along the way.

We’re honored to have been selected to participate as a featured chef for The Classic Wines Auction Dinner Series this coming February. Now in their 30th year, The Classic Wines Auction is the Northwest most successful fundraiser for Children’s and Family Services Programs, and we’re pleased to donate our time to the cause.
While honoring the Auction’s winemaker dinner format, we’re excited to work with the SE Wine Collective, where together we’ll put a twist on the traditional format. Hosted at a grand banquet table in the cellar, we’ll serve a tasting menu in six courses, paired with wines from Division Winemaking Co., Helioterra, Jackalope Cellars, and Vincent Wines.
Not limited to the constraints of a typical restaurant space, we’re excited to be able pair courses with wines pulled directly from barrels in the cellar, and bring a fine dining experience straight to the crush-pad. With the winemakers on hand to share the stories behind each wine, this is a one of a kind dinner you won’t soon forget.

Every Monday, for six weeks, we’ll host a casual “Chicken Dinner Monday” in the comfort of the tasting bar at the SE Wine Collective.
The focus of the menu will be a whole (or half) wood grilled chicken to share (serves four or two guests respectively), with a couple of rotating appetizers/sides and dessert options each week. Chickens will be served family style with house mayonnaise and vegetables of the moment. A thoughtful selection of wine and beer will be available by the glass and by the bottle.
Reservations are available from 5:30PM to 9:30PM each week, and will be the only way to guarantee a spot, though we will keep a few places open for walk-ins as well.
